Government Decree No. 296/2016 Coll. amending Government Decree No. 361/2014 Coll., to lay down the supply of goods or services for the application of the reverse-change mechanism has been promulgated in the Collection of Laws. Starting from 1 October, the reverse-charge mechanism will apply to the supply of electronic communication services. The General Financial Directorate published its Information regarding the amended decree.

An agreement between the Government of the Czech Republic and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income and a relating protocol (No. 47/2016 of the Collection of International Treaties) have been promulgated in the Collection of International Treaties. In this respect, the Ministry of Finance updated the list of double taxation treaties posted at its website.
